In October 2021, the inaugural Cochrane Convenes brought together leaders in health research and health evidence to gather & explore & recommend changes needed in evidence synthesis to better prepare & respond to future global health emergencies. The Convenes report of those discussions is now publicly available: https://convenes.cochrane.org/report.
The Cochrane Convenes Report is a call to action to funders, political leaders, and other parts of the research community to join Cochrane and take the recommendations from global thought leaders forward to build a system that we can trust, that caters to all global users of evidence and is sufficiently prepared for the next global health emergency.
