Cochrane Czech republic invites you to the biggest event of the next year – Global Evidence Summit 2024

On April 18, 2023, Cochrane Executive Director Catherine Spencer, MBA, OBE visited the Czech Republic where she was invited by Dr. Miloslav Klugar, Director of Cochrane Czech Republic. Catherine Spencer was elected to this Cochrane position about nine months ago and her visit to the Czech Republic was her first official visit to one of the 120 existing Cochrane Centres and Groups in the world.

After a long time, we are happy to organize our Cochrane SR Training face to face and welcome participants in Brno at Masaryk University. The course is held from 14 - 16 March with 8 participants (some of them also from abroad). Participants will get an overview of systematic reviews. Also, they will find out what Cochrane review production tools are used and they will learn about Cochrane Library.

In October 2021, the inaugural Cochrane Convenes brought together leaders in health research and health evidence to gather & explore & recommend changes needed in evidence synthesis to better prepare & respond to future global health emergencies.

In the last weeks, you could probably hear at least through the World EBHC day campaign about the CoVaST project that aims to actively monitor the side effects of COVID-19 vaccines in the World and fight against vaccine hesitancy and the mis/disinformation that abounds.
